ReelMagic helps you turn selected photos into short AI-generated video transitions. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Photos you select. ReelMagic only accesses photos you choose through the iOS photo picker. We upload the selected generation frames to our backend so the AI video model can create a preview. ReelMagic does not access your full photo library.

Generated videos. We store generated previews temporarily so the app can play, download, and cache the result.

Purchase information. If you subscribe, Apple processes the purchase through the App Store. We receive subscription entitlement status, not your full payment card details.

Technical information. Our backend may process basic request metadata such as IP address, timestamps, job IDs, device/app request data, error logs, and rate-limit information to operate the service and prevent abuse.

Support messages. If you contact us, we collect the information you choose to send, such as your email address and the contents of your message.

Face and Image Data

Photos may contain faces, people, places, or other personal details. ReelMagic uses selected images only to generate the requested AI video output. We do not use Face ID APIs, create face templates, identify people, or use uploaded photos for advertising or cross-app tracking.

How We Use Information

• Generate AI video previews from the photos you choose.
• Return playable and downloadable video results to the app.
• Operate, secure, debug, and improve ReelMagic.
• Process subscription access and restore purchases through Apple.
• Respond to support requests.

AI Generation Providers

ReelMagic uses third-party AI generation infrastructure, including Google-hosted AI and cloud services, to create video transitions from selected photos. Your selected images and generation instructions may be processed by those providers only to operate the requested generation workflow.

Storage and Retention

Generated files are intended to be temporary. The backend returns generated previews for short-term playback and download, and cloud storage is configured for cleanup. The app may also save a local copy of completed previews on your device so you can access your recent generations.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate ReelMagic, such as cloud hosting, AI generation, payment processing through Apple, and support tooling if used.

Cookies and Website Data

The ReelMagic website is a static marketing and policy site. We do not currently use advertising cookies or behavioral tracking cookies. See the Cookie Policy for current website cookie details.

Your Choices

• You can choose which photos to upload for generation.
• You can delete local app data by deleting the app from your device.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID App Store settings.
• You can contact us to request help with privacy questions, access, deletion, or correction requests.

App Store Privacy Details

Apple requires app developers to provide App Privacy details in App Store Connect. ReelMagic's App Store privacy answers should match this policy and the actual app behavior, including selected photos, generated videos, purchases, diagnostics, and support contact information where applicable.

Children

ReelMagic is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee perfect security.

International Processing

ReelMagic may process information in countries other than your own, depending on where our cloud and AI infrastructure providers operate.

Changes

We may update this policy as ReelMagic evolves. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
